Carter J. Neill
Quality Engineer
Quality systems that scale—with compliance, clarity, and repeatability
Carter Neill works in the space where credibility is protected: quality. As ISO-RAD’s Quality Engineer, he helps ensure that the systems behind every product and service are consistent, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory expectations. With a biomedical/industrial engineering background and a Six Sigma Black Belt, he brings disciplined problem solving and design rigor to a field where repeatability is inseparable from safety.
Professional journey
Carter’s role supports ISO-RAD’s ability to scale. As product lines and medical-facing applications expand, ISO-RAD needs quality controls that keep design intent, documentation discipline, and operational execution aligned—without slowing the business down. Carter helps build that balance: structured enough to be defendable, practical enough to be used daily.
Technical & consulting expertise
Carter supports ISO-RAD’s Quality Management System while also contributing to engineering validation and product development. He performs thermal, structural and performance simulations across ISO-RAD’s product portfolio and assists in the design and refinement of Type A and Type B transport packages. By aligning simulation data with regulatory requirements, he helps ensure that engineering intent is supported by defensible analysis and repeatable documentation. His design contributions focus on improving manufacturability, inspection efficiency, and alignment with performance requirements for ISO-RAD’s container systems.
Carter manages the company’s in-house quality inspections and document control. This includes verifying product conformity, ensuring that inspection records are complete and traceable, maintaining controlled documentation, and supporting design and revision updates within the company’s Quality Management System.
His work directly supports ISO-RAD’s consulting lines involving product development, drawings, product review/analysis/testing and program documentation.
Notable projects & impact
Carter designed and implemented an improved interface component that simplified test setup while maintaining compliance with applicable leak test and documentation requirements. The result was a reduction in helium leak test execution time by more than 50%, significantly increasing inspection efficiency without compromising regulatory defensibility or repeatability.
Personal values & leadership style
Carter is systematic and collaborative. He is known for clarity – endeavoring to simplify complex requirements and processes so that teams can do the right thing efficiently, consistently and confidently.
Medical expansion positioning
As ISO-RAD expands its support of medical and radiopharmacy applications, Carter’s strength is building quality systems that keep compliance repeatable, so that our medical industry customers experience the same disciplined reliability that ISO-RAD delivers to other industrial and research programs.
Carter is committed to ISO-RAD’s mission of delivering integrated solutions – containers, sources, and consulting – built on safety, compliance, and repeatable quality that our customers can trust.
