Engineered and tested to Type B requirements in anticipation of the proposed IAEA SSR-6 rules change, which is expected to require Type B packages for most alpha-emitting isotopes; full implementation is not expected in most countries until January 1, 2028 (the U.S. is expected to adopt later).
